So I was goofing around on Facebook last night, and came a cross a 10,000 pushup challenge for the month of March. This sounded like a great idea to me at the time (no I wasn't drinking). This works out to 322.5 pushups per day for all 31 days of March. I started a day early, and plan on having a few days where I do more than the base number of 322.5, as I know I have a couple travel days this month where it will be almost impossible to get any pushups done. This is a completely manageable number, when broken up into smaller pieces throughout the day. I'm just dropping and doing 10 whenever it strikes my fancy. I'm doing this because it is a decent challenge. There is some planning involved, and there is dedication as you can't really fall behind in something like this. Also, pushups happen to be a sort of goat for me; they hold back my rounds or time in workouts like Murph or Cindy, and I just never set aside time to practice something like the lowly pushup. I'm thinking there will be plenty of practice this month, who's with me...anyone...anyone...Bueller? (sound of crickets chirping)
