I'm very passionate about fitness and sharing it with others. I've been physically active for my entire life starting out with dance as a little girl and getting into soccer, track and judo. At age six my parents enrolled me in judo class because my good friend was doing it. They never imagined what that would lead too!
After competing in junior nationals for the first time at age nine, I knew I wanted to be an Olympian. At age 15 I moved away from my family in Arizona and traveled to upstate New York to train with the Jason Morris Judo Club and chase an Olympic dream. During this time I traveled all over the world training and competing among the best of the best. In 2003 I became National Champion at 52kg, and in 2004 I was the Olympic Alternate for the Summer Olympics in Athens, Greece.
Currently, I enjoy sharing my experiences with others through CrossFit and physical training. I love the training process, and I love CrossFit. It's important to me that we have fun in the gym, and I feel grateful that I get to do this for a living and share it with you!
